1. The Last Full Measure (January 24)
The Last Full Measure is a 2019 American war drama film written and directed by Todd Robinson which was released last January 24, 2020, in the US. This war drama tells the true story of Vietnam War hero William H. Pitsenbarger (played in the film by Jeremy Irvine), a U.S. Air Force Pararescueman who personally saved more than sixty men. During a rescue mission on April 11, 1966, Pitts (as he was called) voluntarily chose to leave the relative safety of the rescue chopper to aid people on the ground when he saw how bad the situation below was. When others in his team declined to go, he put himself at risk to do more to help his fellow Americans. The A-list cast also includes William Hurt, Christopher Plummer, Diane Ladd, Samuel L. Jackson, Peter Fonda, and Ed Harris.
2. Burden (February 28)
Burden is a 2018 American drama film, inspired by true events. The film premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and won the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award which was released on February 28. The film tells the story of Mike Burden (Garrett Hedlund), an orphan raised within the Ku Klux Klan who attempts to break away when the woman (Andrea Riseborough), he falls in love with asks him to leave for a better life together. A black Baptist church congregation led by Reverend Kennedy (Forest Whitaker), agree to protect Mike, his girlfriend, and her son.
3. I Still Believe (March 15)
I Still Believe is an upcoming Christian biographical drama film directed by the Erwin Brothers and starring KJ Apa, Britt Robertson, Shania Twain, Melissa Roxburgh, and Gary Sinise. The film is based on the life of American contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter Jeremy Camp and his first wife, Melissa Lynn Henning-Camp, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer shortly before they married.
4.Resistance (March 27)
Resistance is an upcoming internationally co-produced biographical drama film written and directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz. Jesse Eisenberg stars in this film about French actor Marcel Marceau, best known for his mime work as Bip the Clown. Before achieving fame as a performer, Marceau joined the French Resistance and helped save thousands of orphaned children from the Nazis.
5.Sergio (April 17)
Sergio is a 2020 American biographical drama film about United Nations diplomat Sérgio Vieira de Mello. The film is directed by Greg Barker, from a screenplay by Craig Borten. The film stars Narcos lead Wagner Moura and follows the efforts made to save Vieira de Mello’s life when he was trapped under rubble after the 2003 attack at Baghdad’s Canal Hotel in Iraq.

In 2018, Freddie Mercury and Queen’s story came to the big screen in Bohemian Rhapsody. In 2019, Elton John’s life was portrayed in Rocketman. Coming May 1, 2020, Stardust will be premiering the film tells the story of the young David Bowie’s first visit to the US in 1971 – a trip that inspired the invention of his iconic alter ego Ziggy Stardust.

The Trial of the Chicago 7 is an upcoming American crime drama film written and directed by Aaron Sorkin. The film’s stars include Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jeremy Strong, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Alex Sharp, Thomas Middleditch, Frank Langella, William Hurt, Michael Keaton, and Mark Rylance. The film is based on the story of the Chicago Seven, a group of seven defendants charged by the federal government with conspiracy, inciting to riot, and other charges related to anti-Vietnam War and countercultural protests that took place in Chicago, Illinois, on the occasion of the 1968 Democratic National Convention.

King Richard is an upcoming American biographical drama film directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and written by Zach Baylin. The film stars Will Smith, Jon Bernthal, Aunjanue Ellis, Saniyya Sidney, and Demi Singleton.
The film features the life of Richard Williams, the father and coach of tennis greats Venus and Serena Williams, and tells the story of how he molded his daughters into the legendary players they are today.
